“…it costs less today to diagnose and treat patients compared to what it cost thirty years ago. ”
- Albert A. Gomez, M.D.
Strategic
Healthcare Systems, Inc. was created to provide solutions to the
crisis in America of double-digit medical inflation and the spiraling
cost of health insurance.
Strategic coordinates the interaction
of physicians and patients with its core group of medical companies
forming a virtual vertically integrated healthcare delivery system.
The products and services of each core medical company support
physicians in diagnosing and treating their patient's in the most
timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. Strategic’s
business model improves quality in healthcare because it focuses
on strengthening the doctor-patient relationship. Strategic lowers
healthcare costs by passing the savings gained from advances in
medical science, diagnostic imaging and medical technology through
to the consumer. This unique approach to healthcare delivery is
consistent with the emerging Consumer Driven Health Care paradigm
that will be creating a huge unmet demand for access to low-cost
medical services over the next five years. Strategic’s formula
for healthcare financing is based on the premise that it cost
less today to diagnose and treat patients compared to what it
cost thirty years ago. The goal to build an American healthcare
company for the 21st century using this premise has proven correct;
Strategic has established ten-year track record of consistent
growth and profitability.
Strategic’s success has come from creating a healthcare
delivery system dedicated to addressing the needs of uninsured patients
who must pay cash for all of their medical treatment.
This cash-paying healthcare market segment in the U.S. is composed of the
estimated 45 million uninsured working Americans and immigrants. The
market potential for Strategic’s low-cost medical services expands
to over 100 million if insured patients with high deductibles and patients
wanting preventative care are included. Another important growing market
are insured patients who are willing to pay out-of-pocket for faster
and more convenient medical services, and insured patients seeking out-of-network
second opinions because they are dissatisfied with medical services
provided by their HMO or managed care plans.
